I’m becoming a Home Assistant enthusiast. I first discovered this when I saw a demo of Google home announcing the time on the hour. I was intrigued and had to find out how to do it myself. After a few months and a few Raspberry Pi’s to play around with I’ve finally got it working.
My next project is to document my electrical panel and have a page in my Home Assistant instance to keep for reference. It’s not an automation per-se but if your building a home management portal it is a great idea to keep reference information under the same hood.
I would also like to figure out how to replace my initials in the profile badge with an actual image/avatar in the ha-sidebar.
Then who knows what else will be next.
