I spent my working career as an electronics engineer designing a variety of products. I have worked in real time machine control hardware and software, pc applications and the latest is product design using the ESP32s3 module. I have a four channel opto isolated input and relay output product I am getting close to releasing in a kit form (3 inch by 4 inch board). It runs ESPHOME and can be configured through their interface on HomeAssistant.
