I have been looking for a home assistant compatible solutions for dimming my 0-10v controlled lights and have not been able to find any compatible smart switches that work with local control
I know this was a very old post, but Zooz now has their Zen54-0-10-v-dimmer product, z-wave or course.
I’m going to give it a try. I had bought some lights with 0-10 drivers, and wires inside the fixture for both AC 110v and 0-10 out of the driver to the LED. But of course I can’t use the 0-10 out so I can’t dim the lights, as there is no low voltage wiring going back to the wall switch.
The Zen54 looks like it solves that problem, you put the z-wave Zen54 device behind the fixture cover (hope there is room) and go 110v into the Zen54 and then the low voltage light to the appropriate lighting in the fixture. I will report back.
I was getting ready to buy some of these. How did it go?
As an FYI, I bought two ZEN54s. They are simple to connect and seem to work OK. I say only OK because one keeps dropping out of the network. The other has been perfect. For HA, the default control is an on/off toggle switch. I know it’s out there, but I haven’t figure out how to dim them, other than when turning them off. But I also haven’t put much effort into it either.
Following up, I purchased a ton (30ish) of ZEN54s. I had issues with them disappearing from the network when I used smart inclusion, but I reset everything and switched to standard inclusion and I have not had any issues since.
