Have just upgraded to 0.116 and got an error in lovelace. interestingly, there is no issue on other tabs but only on first “Home”
Can you please show the relevant code from this view?
You probably have
type: glance
at the top of the file, which didn’t do anything in the past but is now invalid.
That exactly what happened. for some reason only after 0.116 upgrade UI stop ignoring it. Now I removed the this record and it is ok now.
I got the same error, except mine was because my home page had the line
type: vertical-stack
in it (at the bottom.) I have no idea when/why I put it there, must have been some example I read somewhere. Removing it solved the problem. At least the error message was helpful!
It would have been better if HA had issued a warning before introducing this breaking change. I did not notice this listed in the release notes, but then again, since I don’t really know why it was there, I might not have understood the breaking change documentation.
