After upgrading to 0.67.0 I also notice a new; curious; outbound connection from my HA instance to the internet.
It is not a constant connection but wakes up every few minutes for a couple seconds.
I am not running any IP cameras; ring; or such. I do not use HA Cloud.
I do have Ecobee, Pollen, iOS app, HomeKit and DarkSky running but have for many versions without seeing this traffic. Firewall very clearly shows it starting same day as the 0.67.0 upgrade.
I suspect this is something fairly innocuous. I just checked the IP details of https://li572-106.members.linode.com/ using the functions available at https://mxtoolbox.com/SuperTool. A port scan of the address shows SSH, HTTP, and HTTPS all open (probably some sort of webserver linux box?), so a quick browse reveals a certificate with Common name and Certificate Alternative Subject Names of darksky.net, which is a weather service.
Of course it could be a dodgy site, with a certificate designed to mislead (but it is signed by Digicert, who should have checked ownership of darksky.net), but I would suggest you look at any weather information that HA is consuming - that will most likely explain your connections.
Thanks for tracking it down; I went brain dead and never bothered to browse it to see if a cert was present. Perhaps DarkSky has added another server or moved; just interesting it was around the same time as the 67 upgrade. Or perhaps they do sticky sessions and I got a new server assigned during the upgrade downtime…
