0 accessories found, but works with "homekit" component

I tried using the homebridge addon but it would always load with 0 accessories found and only the HomeAssistant platform would show in the Home app.
Today I added the “homekit” component to my config file and using that method everything works fine.
Am I missing something?

I’m a dummy, just had to change “default_visibility” from “hidden” to “visible”.
