100% usage ****SOLVED****

I moved my system over to unRAID and all went extremely well but I see my space at 100% problem is what exactly is at 100% and how do I increase it or correct it?

Sorry guys didn’t provide enough info so I installed with the qcow2.gz file and from what I can tell this is the drive space for the system, I reinstalled and before uploading the snapshot it was at 30% after uploading it was at 86% and It’s not completely configured so I need to find where and how to increase the size of the vdisk not sure if it is within unRAID itself or maybe the qcow2 file needs to be edited any assistance is greatly appreciated

Problem solved 1st time I ever googled something and found the answer here it is below:

sudo qemu-img resize /mnt/user/domains/hassos_ova-4.6.qcow2 +32G

@mrbilky - I am struggling with the same issue. I always had HASSOS as a VM on unraid but with only 32G size vdisk initially and eventually ran out of space in HA.

I increased the vdisk size in unraid to 64G and it shows as a 64G vdisk but only 32G is allocated still in HA and the disk is still full.

How do I increase allocation in HA - any tools like gparted?

Wow its been a long time if I remember I just increased my vdisk by like 120G as I have the space silly question did you reboot the vm afterwards I can tell you I have had 0 issues with this vm homeassitant has been rock solid since implementation also did you make sure that the version matches the version you want to increase

/mnt/user/domains/hassos_ova-4.6.qcow2

Yes rebooted the VM. not understanding your version comment, HA is running fine, just not seeing the increased vdisk size. It is still at 90% storage capacity.

Version as to the QCOW version

Yeah nothing worked. I just nuked the old VM and started fresh, and restored from backup. No issues now.

Yeah been there done that glad your back up again this has been the best setup yet for me super stable fast reloads its just been that good, and yes backups are your friend!
