I have been running Home Assistant on a Raspberry PI 3b+ with a Raspberry screen attached to it. It recently upgrade to the latest 12.4 version. The screen is now black not working.
I then made a new SD card with the latest version of Home Assistant 12.4 the screen is still black but now it’s also not connecting to the network that I connected to my router so I am unable to connect to it.
Kindly assist.
At which point the screen turns off? If it does not even show the initial boot sequence it sounds to me like a hardware problem.
I would try booting with the official Raspberry Pi OS. Does the screen work with it?
Yes with the Raspberry OS the screen and network works.
You are correct it also does not show he initial boot sequence, but with the raspberry OS it does.
Maybe try a different SD card? Can happen that the old card broke during the writing process when you reinstalled HA onto it.
