I just installed a 14294 In-Wall Smart Dimmer and have issues turning it on and off from HA. When turning it on the actual light turns on, but HA thinks it is set to the lowest setting. When turning it off it starts to dim and then gets stuck around 30ish% while the actual light turns off. Dimming works fine from HA as long was you don’t turn it off. When dimming and turning on/off from the actual switch HA sees all the updates correctly.
I have searched the forums and found similar issues, but didn’t resolve it with those fixes. For now I created an automation that forces a zwave refresh of the switch when it is turned off or on after five seconds and that has been my workaround for now.
