150+ matter over thread lights on one network?

Let’s see how many people say this is a bad idea…

I’m opening a wedding venue, which will have a plethora of lighting throughout the space. We’ll include some traditional fixtures (chandeliers, etc) with shelly dimmers, but that’s not the topic of this post.

For the bulk of our recessed lighting, I would like to use Nanoleaf bulbs in a Matter over Thread network, all ran by home assistant.

Since this is a new space, we’ll have plenty of Cat 6 drops and access points for WiFi, but that shouldn’t affect the Thread network, right? I imagine having a single Apple TV be the heart of the Thread network, but my question is, does a network of this size require a second hub? Or, do the bulbs create a mesh network and extend each other?

To further complicate things, there’s a second building which will also need to be controlled by this HA instance, so can I simply just have a second Apple TV in that one to start off the Thread network there?

Thanks all in advance!
