Sorry no solution here, but just would like to take this one up :slight_smile: I m also considering this solution, but without homeassistant, it would not do it :frowning:

I’ve messaged 1Control in order to get some access or api documentation. If they open this up, I’ll probably dev the extension for HA as I need it for my setup too. I’ll keep this thread updated.

If anyone has found an api or a way to get around let me know

Good news, apparently they are openning an http api in january. This means we’ll be able to fetch data and communicate with solo link.

Here’s the answer I got from them:

Hi,
we are working on a new firmware for the LINK with API support.

We will release it as an OTA update in january

this firmware will allow you to control SOLO through LINK using http API.

Yes,

I couldn’t write as this website was on read only for some time. But I got back in touch with them early February and got this reply from them:

Hello,

The API implementation is still in the testing stage, I will contact you personally as soon as its gets released.

I’ll keep this thread updated. I’m planning on purchasing 1control solo as soon as they release the API and will work on a open source home assistant integration.

I think you’ll need the 1control link as well so it connects to the cloud, the solo enables control through bluetooth only
I have the combo (solo + link) already and IT knowledge so let me know if I can be of any help.

Hello everyone, isn’t there a way to connect directly with BT? The Raspy would have BT available.

Yep, I’m getting the Link too.

I’ll set up a github as soon as I get access to the API. I have little expectations on having webhooks so most probably we’ll be pooling the api.

Thanks for sharing,

I just found zigbee garage door openers for 20$ that integrate with HA, I didn’t even know those existed and they work perfectly. As my only need is to be integrated with HA I’m out :slight_smile:
