I’m at a loss on this one. Has anyone seen this?
I bought a Yale Assure SL lock. It was an older end of line model and I got a good deal. I had this installed and working for 2-3 months. Then one day it just stops talking to home assistant. The lock still works on its own, but no zigbee communication. After much troubleshooting I decide to unbind and rebind to Z2M on my HA. At this point the lock looses its mind!!

There is no method to stop this behavior other than removal of the zigbee module. This returns the lock to full normal operation. Any attempt to add the zigbee module back leads to this behavior. I have hardware factory reset the lock and also deleted from HA completely. But in all scenarios the module is causing this behavior
So I spoke with Yale. And they were kind enough to send me a new lock with a new zigbee module. The newer model, but basically the same. Installed, connected to HA - happy days!
Well, for about a week. Guess what. New lock stopped talking to HA! Tried to troubleshoot. No manner of changing settings, batteries or factory resets will make it talk to HA. So, unbind and rebind. The same outcome!!!

So 2 locks unusable. Looks like I need to return everything and look for something else. Has anyone seen this behavior before? What’s the next closest lock to this that I should buy?
Thx.
