Hello,
Please recommend 2-gang rocker wall switch without touch and without “fixation” here in Europe. I am looking for the switch to use it together with Home Assistant. I started from very common rocker switch like that connected to Sonoff Mini R2:
but very soon I understood that controlling 2-gang switch with fixation from Home Assistant leads to mess with its state. Almost impossible to understand which button to press to switch light on/off, because the state was changes from Home Assistant.
Well, then I tried Sonoff TX T0 touch wall switch and it turns out that all these touch switches are not user friendly. The user always should look at the switch to aim correctly to the button. It is impossible anymore just to enter the room and switch light on without looking at the switch.
Also I know about Sonoff 433 RF switches and I use pair of them in my house. They are without fixation, but they use batteries and they are… too simple and boring:
I am not ready yet to downgrade my requirements.
Some time ago I visited Japan and wall switches without fixation were in every flat we rented out. Unfortunately they are not present at our market, here in Estonia and I cannot find them in EU online shops.
The switch might be mechanical (without WiFi and radio), then I will connect it to Sonoff Mini R2, or it might be with WiFi and then I will replace its firmware with Tasmota.
Thank you in advance!
You can easily change these switches to be non-fixed (like bell buttons) - just insert a small spring below buttons. There are usually already prepared “mini spikes” for holding them (same plastic is used for bell buttons). I do that for my wifi controlled switches and it works perfectly. It’s just the matter of finding spring with correct size and strength.

Your request is not super clear. I understand what you have tested but WHAT are you looking for?
Not sure about your counter-argument for “fixation” but I went through a similar journey like you did. Especially with other people in the house you want a proper switch with good haptic feedback and a mature design.
I am using Homematic hardware:
I am a big fan of the two-switch solution. Bottom half ON, top half OFF. Additionally you get a long-press option. This is very intuitive and used “blind”. Given, visitors don’t always know where to press because a rocker switch in a neutral position is not necessarily common in a lot of places.
I’ve also installed a few button switches similar to the model @Planeta linked above. They are great and available by many vendors. Be sure to flash them with Tasmota.
A MASSIVE database of available and tasmota compatible products exists here:
Just saw these are preflashed with ESPHome. Nice!
They are looking nice! Thanks!
I did that. What a clever solution! And it costed me 12 cents :)))

Thank you very much for your recommendation. Your recommended switches are cool, although I choose cheaper and more diy-ish solution.
If someone is interested, I ended with Gosund SW9 switch, which looks modern and has LEDs.
