2 living room!?

I have in my hass two entity_id for the living room

light.living_room
light.living_room_

You can see the second has _ more. But nowhere in my installation I have the living_room_ (with extra _)

Turning on one it will turn the other in sync … what is it??

Hard to tell without seeing your configuration, but it looks like you may have two lights with the same name in two different platforms.

Well in my configuration I changed all “living room” into “livingroom”

ANd now I have as entity_id
livingroom
AND
living_room ???

I also changed in my Hue bridge, the name of Living Room into Livingroom.

SO I have nooo idea where this “living room” comes from

Do you have made a group in Hue app?
That will show up as a light.

I have rooms, you can do groups in Hue app?

EDIT … ahhhhh I have a group called Living Room in the “Hue Notification Switch” app …

I should have said two ENTITIES with the same name. That may have made it clearer, sorry.

Not 2 entities with same name, the entities were slightly different.

It could also be the Google Home room, it was Living Room, now I renamed it in GH Livingroom
