2 phones with different location issues

My wife and I both have the HA app on our phones.mine android, and hers apple.
I have an issue where my person.x sensor always shows me at home no matter where I am but the geocoded location is always up to date on where I am.

My wife’s phone is the opposite, her person.x sensor always shows where she is on the map and “away” but her geocoded location is always our home address…

Any thoughts on thing to check to resolve this?

Check in the settings of HA (not the companion app) under persons. Look at each person and see what devices are associated with each person. If multiple devices are attached to a person (ex: companion app and a device tracker provided by a router or network monitor integration) HA uses both to determine person location.
