2021.12.1 Showing As An Update, No Info

I looked at my HA this morning and saw the long-awaited latest release of 2021.12.1 but it is only the supervisor and release notes takes me to the GitHub releases page rather than the familiar blog post. Obviously I’m not going to upgrade to this as it looks like perhaps it wasn’t supposed to be published and who knows how totally hosed my system would get :wink:.

You’ve spoiled us with having as many as five or six updates in a month and then nothing for quite some time now. I’m anticipating some pretty major news coming soon. A new automation that is some Star Trek level technology maybe (fingers crossed)? Skynet finally wakes up?

It’s like an early Christmas present that is really big, wrapped and under the tree and you just sit there and stare at it wondering what kind of wonderful surprise sits inside that wrapping paper :christmas_tree::nerd_face:.

According to the Home Assistant versions data, it was intended and safe to upgrade

There are three possible components that can be updated:

  1. OS
  2. Supervisor
  3. Core

They can all be updated independently. Only the core updates get the blog post.
