Well, the message is explicit.
The custom component doesn’t support playing files from other components, at this point.

There is already an issue opened towards the custom component:

which player allows it?

google nest mini or another ?

I was looking forward to using the play media action but unfortunately it doesn’t work on any Amazon media device or Samsung TV.
Hope this gets sorted.

Was this ever resolved or is there any workaround available?
Would really like to stream video from my Reolink camera to my Samsung TV using an automation.
