2022.5: Streamlining settings

That’s the problem. The sensor is not available and therefore I‘m not able to activate the sensor.
There is not option to activate it

Click on the sensor in the entities list. In the pop-up click on “Advanced Settings”, Select “Enabled” and click “Update”.

Thanks. I missed the advanced settings part. Now it works

Yes I noticed that, but I have not used the mentioned “white_value”, as my lights are not tuneable white. I am only changing brightness

Has there been a change in relation to tap action url that I’ve missed? The target site gets opened twice.

Absolutely nothing, it was very odd. No errors, no nothing out of norm.
So for testing I swapped back to 2022.5.1 and the page came right up.

Since this update google_say is not working anymore on my google HUB/NEST
Anyone an idea?

Same to me, google_say has stopped working on my Tablet with Fully Kiosk…tried different things without luck.

Anybody else have this fatal error in supervisor and can maybe point me towards the culprit?

Found 2 non-daemonic threads.
s6-svscanctl: fatal: unable to control /var/run/s6/services: supervisor not listening

Just updated to 2022.5.3 and doesn’t seem to have made it into this one either.

Is there a way to hide the new search icon for the quick bar? Or at least for specific users?

In my limited testing the search is fixed in 2022.5.3, but point me to the specific part of the GUI you are looking at (search pops up in many places).

EDIT, looked at it again and now I’m not so sure :frowning:

Settings → Devices & Services → Entities

Testing by searching CLT and Trailer, the same 2 search terms I referenced in the github issue HERE, and the results are identical between 2022.5.0 and 2022.5.3.

A search for the word “Trailer” still returns switch.adguard_filtering as it’s first result followed by a ton of unrelated entities.

Thank you @rdfurman for all the work on the Honeywell component!

The PR was reverted, it’s listed in the latest frontend release. Check your cache

You might notice some of the new menu items are fairly empty. For those menus, like “Storage” and “Hardware”, we have more content planned soon!

Just updated to 2022.5.3 and noticed I am missing the Backup, Storage and Hardware categories on my System Page. Did I need to change my configuration yaml to add these? I am running HA Core.

No changes required. They’re still there for me (HA OS). Tried clearing your browser cache?

sure did, 1st thing I thought of, then tried restarting. No Luck so far

sounds like the supervisor needs to be restarted, check the supervisor logs.

They’re running core.
