2023.6.x Connect and use your existing network storage

I’m using the beta channel. So I’m in 2023.6.0b5 now.
I know that I’m all by myself when it comes to beta but the question will still be there tomorrow when 2023.6.0 will be released.

In the Settings > Storage menu, you can now find a whole new set of controls to connect to your storage and use it to, for example, use as your network share as a media source in Home Assistant.

I don’t have that option. following the My link is bringing me to an empty page.
As I’m not using the default_config, maybe I missed something in my configuration.yaml file?

I was so tempted to get involved in this beta for this very feature.

My first idea would be to refresh the cache on the Settings page just in case the option is there, just not loaded in the UI (Ctrl+F5).

Otherwise, it’s worth raising the question in the Discord chat.

Thx for your help but I did it. Otherwise the new “integration” page (that I realy like btw) was not showing.
But unfortunatly it did not solve the problem.
I went to the default_config page for rc but did not find anything that is not included in my configuration.yaml.

I want to use this for my backup, my synology in RAID5 is the perfect destination for that.

Settings → System → Storage ?

I thought about that one, but no

Please only discuss beta releases in the Discord Beta channel.

This is not to be “secretive”, it is so that the developers have visibility of issues. Like this.
