They certainly are not there for me from my mobile network or my home PC from LAN. I believe you that you see them, however they are not there for me (and apparently others)
Wild, no matter which network I access from, the most recent one is 2023.8.1
I didnāt have any changes I was waiting on though, so NBD, I will just skip this one unless it shows up when I refresh later.
You are not alone. I donāt see it either. Only 2023.8.1
Maybe it is a regional thing? I dunno, based on your name I can guess where you are located & I an in the PNW, so perhaps a CDN on the west US coast is misbehaving or somehing? I dunno lol
Try clearing your web browser cache and check the page again.
There are other places to see what you want
Could try opening the link using incognito mode too as that will ignore cache.
Thanks - I am still unable to update from 2023.7.3 to 2023.8.2 via UI so I did ha core update
it said processing but still has not updated after not sure what else to try
People have been getting sloppy and not putting the ābreaking changeā tag on the github pull requests when required. Simply noting that a PR is a ābreaking changeā in the PR summary isnāt enough as nobody has the time to read through every single PR in a release.
After two months not updating my HA (vacation), and now at home I pressed the buttons Core and OS update (incl. Esphome, HACS)ā¦ no issues. I was prepared to babysit my OS prompt for the night. Almost boring
Thank you devs!
Try a power off and then start. (the proper way, not just unplugging)
Just upgraded to 2023.8.2 and it broke all of the integrations I use except one (lutron). Had to revert from backup.
Did you look at the system log to work out why?
What version did you upgrade from?
Also not seeing .2, and am also in the PNW.
With every release I am amused by so many complaining posts āthe update broke all my integrations, nothing works, errors everywhere etc.āā¦
Never had issues since years now, reading the breaking changes upfront is enough to keep a stable system.
Guys, if you face errors, post at least the logsā¦ otherwise it will sound more like a complaint than a looking for an answer
First time Iāve ever had a problem with a new release in all the years using HA.
Iāve had to rool back to 2023.7.3 as calling scene.turn_on with wled device presets just wonāt work.
Anyone else seeing this?
Thank you for your astute and detailed contribution.
I am having an issue where hidden entities are being acted upon when I pass an area to a service call. For example, I have hidden light entities in some areas that are turned on when I call a light.turn_on
service for that area (same with covers, etc). Pre-2023.8 hidden entities were not turned on.
Anyone else?
I think this is more or less whats happening with my wled scenes. its trying to act upon unavailable entities within a device which is causing it to fail.
