Yes, I’m having issues with this integration after upgrading to 2023.8. Further investigation required as it’s not the same symptoms you’re having. I have a number of scripts to change volume, internet radio stations e.t.c on the media player device created by this integration however none of these scripts are now working. Anyone else having issues?
Did you check if entities for your radio have changed names now? I don’t see any other cause not to work…
Have you checked on GitHub whether this has been reported as a bug? Sounds like one to me, but I don’t use this functionality.
Yes checked that and the entity names have not changed. I’ve now raised a bug report as the issue doesn’t appear to be anything obvious.

I didn’t scroll up to see what your issue was, but I had trouble upgrading from 2023.8.1 to 2023.8.2. The upgrade would complete, the web page would come down, but no restart. Couldn’t start core (this container is slated for removal…) so only option was to reboot host, resulting in … 2023.8.1. I’m also running on a rpi, but 3B+ or something like that.
What worked for me eventually was, from the command line, “ha core rebuild” (I think – in any case, rebuild core), reboot host, then upgrade to 2023.8.2.
I have issues similar to the above every release, but this is the first time that upgrading didn’t eventually take using typical methods. I have rebuilt my system from released images and it still surfaces, so it’s likely baggage somewhere in my config files.
After updating yesterday from 2023.8.2 to 2023.8.3 tonight all my history values are gone, including energy dashboard. I have to recover the backup.
Are there any known issues with the update?
Working for me and no changes were made to this in the last update. Try updating again and check your logs for database errors.
You gave me a bit of a scare, but fortunately enough I can’t say this is a general issue. Good luck with figuring out the details and issues.

After upgrading to 2023.8.3 the TCP based modbus communication with my sungrow solar system is not working anymore. Anyone has similar issues? I converted back to .8.2 and its now running again.

After recover and update my instance again, the same error occurs tonight more or less at the same time. I think the error occurs with the update. No other breaking changes are made on my instance.
You are right, that it is a database error. But I cannot work with the message in the log. Have you any ideas? The old DB is saved.

I searched and found that this a know Bug in modbus that should be fixed in 2023.8.4
Did you ensure to refresh the browser. I had some similar issues when staying logged in while upgrading and got weird behaviors in sensor values. Pressing ctrl-f5 fixed it, was just a display issue

It is not fixed in 2023.8.4 
Found out that this is not an issue of 2023.8.4 but an updated version of the sungrow modbus integration is required to fix it.
It appears that all changes made to sliders (%) no longer generate a logbook marking. Ie. I can’t debug what/who changed the setting. Logbook still gets updated for switches, buttons etc. so this applies only to some entities. Anyone else having the same issue?
