after the update to 2024.X Nuki Lock 3.0 Pro which is connected through MQTT integration stopped working. Pressing the lock/unlock button doesn’t do anything and it doesn’t pick up the states from the lock.
The lock is not “unavailable”, it’s shown in the UI but you can not interact with the lock.
Also new is the update actions card feature. This addition by @piitaya allows you to add buttons to a card to trigger update actions when pressed.
How exactly does that work? I use the Tile card for a few lights entities. The feature I use the most is the brightness, but to have buttons in the Tile card that run “things” 'd nice.
I can think about custom scripts/scenes to apply to a groups of lights some presets of color and brightness.
Hi every one,
Thank you for another great release!
I have one thing to address this time - for to do lists.
Is this behavior intended that the page is scrolled down with marked Item?
This is sooo annoying
Any ideas how to change it so the view would not get scrolled down each single time?
I personally am having a harder and harder time with both the todo lists checking on scrolling and the thermostat card changing temperature when scrolling. I really would prefer it if we had the option to configure the UI to balance its response time to scroll events and card manipulation events. It’s often very hard to find a place where I should touch the screen to scroll that does not trigger a card related event.
It’s not the greatest of help that HA has adopted the minimalist 3 pixel scrollbar fashion. I find this interface (to organize menu items) particularly difficult to use on a phone. One has to use the scrollbar to access the offscreen elements, and one cannot use the main body of the interface to scroll up and down, as that simply triggers the drag and drop behaviour that rearranges the items.
I’m fairly new to HA and I’m using an HA Yellow. However, after the recent update about 2 days ago, the Yellow suddenly stopped working. Has it got to do with the update? Can someone please help me.
Yes! I have provided more details in other posts but no one seems to respond if I key in all what I’ve done. You’re the first person to ever respond to me and I appreciate that! Thank you!
What I meant by stopped working is that only the red LED on the HA yellow is showing. I tried resetting using the options provided (blue and red button, also rpiboot and flashing) but none of them worked. I tried unclipping and clipping the CM4 module, cleaning the ports but it seems that the Ethernet port doesn’t draw any internet. I tried using different cables, tried it in a different house thinking it was my router, but still no yellow LED.
Thank you for responding. I truly appreciate it. I have done all that is being suggested in the documentation. I don’t know what else to do I want to use another machine but the only spare one I have is a pi5 and I really don’t want to use my pi5 for HA
I didn’t see your reply and I apologise if it looked like I ignored you. No it doesn’t have an HDMI port. The only way for me to connect to it is if it is up and running. So at the moment, I don’t know how to get to it.
Looks like there are some case-sensitivity issues with preset_mode in ecobee and other integrations in this release. The code owners can’t seem to do anything about it because it looks like something at the HA level. How do we get someone to look into this?
Hi, with the new update I get errors in my Advanced Heating Control Automations:
Advanced Heating Control: Choose at step 4: choice 2: Repeat at step 1: If at step 5: Error executing script. Unexpected error for call_service at pos 6: ‘NoneType’ object is not iterable
The trace looks like that:
Has anyone seen that before? If I revert to 2023.12 it works like a charm.
I also pay for the cloud but when I tried to ask support through that option, it said that they can help only with the cloud questions. So, I didn’t even try. But someone in this thread posted an email address for the Yellow support so I have tried that and I’m just waiting for a response.
