Looks like there were updates around 5 months ago. Perhaps you misread gihub? A couple of files in the root directory haven’t been changed in 2 years, but in /src/ there are changes.
Last update I saw just now was July 2023, so yeah, I was mistaken there, but I was also going on this as well: Help Wanted
I’m pretty sure someone forked the repo and took it over. Maybe I’m miss remembering.

I was using the beta and now in 2024.5.0 but it is not showing the “collapse” arrow. I’m a sad panda.
There is a team actively maintaining and developing a fork in the absence of the original developer’s availability for the project.
Edit - I see this has been mentioned. 
I’ve been happily using the fork for a couple weeks now. I started using in when running into issues with frigate notifications that were resolved with the fork.

That work fine for me 
After Update to 2024.5.0 the Zigbee Home Automation goes to Initialize state.
The ZHABridge works well.
On Restart Home-Assistant (Not the Host) the function will work but the Initialize of the Integration starts again. Sometimes for a short period of time it works.
Meantime is does not work until a restart of Home-Assistant again.
My logs are more or less disabled (critical only). There is way too much for my small Pi to handle - but I just enabled the logs and reupgraded again and it seems like the dreame plugin kills it:

Here the memory usage increases massively until OOM.
In automations, when adding an “entity - numeric status” trigger or condition, the number I input will be changed to 0,1 lower. So 15 becomes 14,9 and 1000 becomes 999,9. Using the Dutch locale for number (so the “,” is the decimal point).

Question on floors and areas.
I have areas defined for all the rooms in my house, including stairs. These don’t fit neatly into ‘floors’, since by definition they cross floors. So far I’m just excluding them from floors entirely, but I’d rather have them be able to exist in both floors.
How are others dealing with this? Is there already an enhancement in the works?

There are a number of ways to handle this:
- Put it on the floor that makes the most sense.
- Make an additional floor just for the stairs.
Typically people are going with #2 because you can specify multiple floors on service calls.

The upgrade went fine for me. The only thing I’m noticing that is not working right is the new data table features. If I go into Automations, it will save my preference for the sort and group, but if I set it to NO GROUPING, it does not save this. If I pick any of the group types, it remembers that. It just doesn’t save if I change it to No Grouping.
Previous issue with Matter Server integration now resolved on 2024.5.1 hotfix. Everything working perfect again.

Liking the new grouping and Energy devices UX improvements.
They just released an update (I personally have not had a chance to test yet) but in the meantime, their dev release fixed/allowed upgrade to 2024.5 to finish successfully.
Upgrade from 2024.4.4 to 2024.5.1 whent great. I was a bit scared with both MQTT and Matter Server in my environment. Smooth as silk -thanks for all the hard work. Looking forward to messing with the new features.
