If a custom integration was installed with the same name as a core integration, ‘add integration’ will show the custom integration
I noticed that I’m no longer getting the prompt to change the entity names when renaming a device. Is this intented? It’s really annoying having to rename each entity of a device individually.
Thank you for your response. I don’t remember using anything but the core version, but who knows. Thank you for giving me a direction in which to look. Your help is much appreciated.

There’s now an option on the 3-dot menu for devices (next to the edit/rename icon) labeled “Recreate entity IDs” that triggers the renaming process to the “default” entity names:
(Although the new Shelly integration sub-devices support has broken those default names for Shelly hardware - the device name is duplicated in the defaults.)

Please can something be done with the new editing menus in automations scenes and scripts. them being on the side is so difficult and sometimes don’t even display correctly
on the right in image they appear ok but sometimes all the buttons cant even be seen
Also the delete button dosent work
Thanks, seems like I was more focused on the image that showed resetting a single entity id when reading the release notes and skipped that part.
I found it better when getting asked if I want to rename the entity IDs too when changing the device name but at least the option is still there.

Doesn’ sound intuitive to me.
It suggests to REdo something. But if it has to be a followup to device name change, there is nothing to redo. Thus “recreate” somehow doesn’t fit here.
But good to know it’s devs intention (I didn’t see it in changes description).
Need to admit, that previous solution wasn’t too “strightforward” too. I had to read the message twice and use perform renaming several time to become confident about how names are gonna change.
For sure new approach prevents against unneeded name changes more then previous one.
Is this new feature informs in advance how many entities are gonna be changed? I found this information useful in some situations.
Just installed 2025.6.
Now if a card is wrongly configured, it shows a brief “Configuration error” message:
then a detailed info in editor & a preview:
and also a detailed info in Edit mode:
But in a yaml-based dashboard you will always see a brief “Configuration error” message. So, to see a possible explanation, a user needs to copy a code from yaml, paste it into UI editor (along with processing possibly using anchors, “includes”, secrets, decluttering templates, …).
Not a best way.
I wonder why not to provide a full info in console at least?
Also, I wonder if I missed smth in docs? Perhaps a hidden option to “always show detailed info”? )))

Could this possibly be related to this issue? Which did in fact resolve itself with 2025.6.2 maybe… might have been Card Mod 2.4.1.
No, you need to find out what caused the error described in your thread.
What I am talking is that founding a reason of an error became much more difficult in case of a yaml-based dashboard.
I updated to 2025.6.1 yesterday. I was running armv7 on a rpi3 and got the 32-bit deprecation notice. I setup backups and downloaded one, noticing for the first time that encrypted backups are an option now, which is great! I downloaded the emergency kit with the encryption key as well.
Thankfully I don’t trust anything with 1’s and 0’s so I grabbed a new SD card and fired up a brand new install. During first boot it prompted for my backup and… the encryption key was invalid. OK, boot to my original SD card, verify the encryption key and it’s different? Booted back to the new, clean install and was able to recover the backup with the key.
I assume I did something stupid and wrong but backups are really important to get right. There needs to be some mechanism to prevent the recovery key from silently rotating. I could be completely hosed if I had reused my SD card like a normal person.
But over-all you guys are great, and thanks for making a great platform!
After update from 2025.5.3 to 2025.6.x I get ‘Error while loading page’ on all pages of frontend (dashboards and menus).
Internal access via 8123 is working but every access via reverse proxy and my official doamin do not working anymore. I see no blocks or error on my Sophos WAF so I do not no what to do ore trouble shooting this issue.
After going back to 2025.5.3 everything is workling fine again. Tryed several times and access from differnet location and ways (Browser and App). Always 2025.5 is working and 2025.6 not working.
Any hint? Thanks.
No problem here with my domain and the swag nginx reverse proxy.
I dont get an error, but I can’t use what loads. I just get a side bar, the main part is just a wallpaper, and the whole thing is frozen. Happens on every device in the house, Chrome app, HA Companion on Android.
Even now at 2025.6.2, its still completely porked. Had to go back to 2025.05.x.
Also getting a log plastered with protobuf gencode version errors which seems to be commonly reported in the issue tracker on GIthub.
I got it running: Disable this Advanced options on Sophos WAF:
- Disable compression support
- Rewrite HTML
- Pass host header
Now it seems running after update to 2025.6.x too.
uhm, I am most certainly not on the early access channel… never have been.
after updating to 2025.6.3 this pops up though
seems the release version the Official channel now is marked as Early Access?
(daily updates at 3 am, so the couple of restarts I did today should have been on that same release already, not issuing the repair.
Anything in 2025.6.3 causing this?

With the newest release my map (zones, persons,…) isn´t working anymore.
does anybody else have the same issue?

all of the maps I use show the entities and zones as before
ok strange. the zones are shown on my person cards but when i click on it and geht the map i cannot see the location
