Hurray!
I have been hoping for years the hikvision integration would be made available via the UI.
This has a major benefit: several times per week the embedded PIR sensors in my hikvision cameras stop reporting their status to home assistant.
Up until now the only solution was to restart home assistant.
Now it will only require restarting the hikvision integration (something that is only possible with UI based integrations).
an option to have either the old energy dashboard back, or allowing to set a tab as default would be highly apprecated. ( /energy/overview , /energy/electricity , /energy/water )
LLM Voice issue (Assist, not local first)
Error talking to OpenAI on Android companion (prod)
Logger: homeassistant.components.openai_conversation

First occurred: 2:24:40 PM (3 occurrences)

Error talking to OpenAI: Error code: 400 - {âerrorâ: {âmessageâ: âInvalid schema for function âHassStartTimerâ: schema must have type âobjectâ and not have âoneOfâ/âanyOfâ/âallOfâ/âenumâ/ânotâ at the top level.â, âtypeâ: âinvalid_request_errorâ, âparamâ: âtools[4].parametersâ, âcodeâ: âinvalid_function_parametersâ}}
Going to rollback to see if it clears. Edit. Rollback fixes it. Gotta chase.
After installing 2026.1 the Homematic IP local integration stopped working. It could not be loaded. Currently trying to reinstall a backup.
Since I am restoring the backup I do not have all the error messages anymore but this was one of them:
âError occurred loading flow for integration homematicip_local: Exception importing custom_components.homematicip_local.config_flowâ
After installing 2026.1 the XtendTuya integration stopped working and could not be loaded. I had to do a full restore of HA to make it work again.
I could not load the integration or even remove the hub to be able to reĂŻnstall this hub.
Some motion sensors will not work with Tuya, only with Extend.
Trying to access Add-ons via HA app on Android results in a white screenâŠ
Edit: fixed
The link in this article about the home dashboard is broken. Iâm not sure what itâs supposed to be.
A fix for Xtend_tuya is about to be released
FYI ha-dialog-surface-backdrop-filter doesnât seem to work in 2026.1.0 anymore (dialog blur gone). Worked fine in 2025.12.5 (rollback restores it)
Insteon is not an open standard but instead a closed source propriatory technology owned by a single company so why was that choosen to be be listed among open standards?
Suggest you just remove Insteon from that list or else you will also need to add many additional propriatory technologies or risk being seen as favouring a specific company.
Regardless how you definite, Insteon is not an open standard (and Instead probably will never be made into an open standard either realisticly).
Either promote only open standards or add all propriatory protocols to follow the same
principles and be fair to all companies.
I donât understand why all is a sudden the minimum width of a vertical grid is 3 instead of 2, and why the number of rows canât be set anymore for horizontal grids. Youâre messing up my dashboardsâŠ
I just upgraded, and I donât see the protocol dashboards. Does that need to be enabled somewhere? Iâm running the Docker version.
Lets see if we can drag and drop (multiple) devices onto an area, that would make the device dashboard useful for someone like me with over 280 devices
Which dialog? Dialogs are progressively being migrated to ha-wa-dialog.
Guys, this isnât feature request thread or a demand feature thread. @Hurleyy @CSirolli
Stay on topic please. The topic is the 2026.1 release.
The Fish Audio integration is neat. Theyâve got a pretty good GlaDOS voice.
Itâs not obvious on their website at first, but their API has a pay-as-you-go option so you donât need to subscribe monthly or annually (but of course it always depends on your usage as to which is the better deal).
Did you select dashboards on that page? Should be under âbuilt inâ
