I’ve been playing with home assistant for a couple of days now and I just noticed a large amount of write bandwidth being consumed by home assistant with iotop. It seems as though with history or logbook enabled in the configuration file I’m getting between 30MB/s and 60MB/s of writes. The database isn’t growing that fast, so I assume it’s just updating some fields in database entries constantly? Is this expected? I tried shutting down home assistant, deleting the DB and restarting it and the same amount of write appeared. I also tried removing every component from the YAML file I added and I was still seeing those data rates. I’m running 27.2 docker image.
