After trying to unstuck the LIDAR and removing the top cover (the one that doesn’t lift to remove the bin), to my surprise i found 2 interface ports. One micro usb and one i couldn’t immediately identify.
Anyway - the micro usb can without a problem power a Eufy 2K camera. I currently use a micro usb to female usb 2.0 and then another micro usb but i will move this to a single micro usb cable instead, and probably drill a little hole in the top cover.
Or use some sort of FPV angled ribbon cable i can fold. But i digress - it works great. I put the eufy on top of the LIDAR so it doesn’t block anything and you still get a pretty good view because of the wide angle lens. Obviously you can’t use it to go under your couch anymore but we don’t have those in the dining room anyway.
It’s really quite nice to have a camera that i can send anywhere for inspection. I suspect at least newer models will have these ports as well, or maybe the S5 and S6 too. A FCC drawing will probably tell you, but i haven’t bothered to look at that yet.
