Hi, I have a total of 4 meters for my electricity and wanting to bring them all together in Home Assistant energy data. My meters are as follows
- Grid Usage - This records usage of all power that comes in from the grid at 1 pulse / Wh. Sends 5 minute totals via MQTT to Home Assistant
- Grid Export - This records all excess power generation from solar which is not used by the house and is exported to the grid at 1 pulse / Wh. Sends 5 minute totals via MQTT to Home Assistant
- House Usage - This records total usage of power by the house at 1 pulse / Wh regardless of whether it comes from Solar / Grid or a combination of both. Sends 5 minute totals via MQTT to Home Assistant
- Solar Generation - This records total generation of power by the house at 1 pulse / Wh regardless of whether it is used by House or exported to grid or combination of both. Sends 5 minute totals via MQTT to Home Assistant.
My question is in going to set up the Energy monitoring it seems to only have two options for sources (Grid Consumption and Return to Grid). As such it appears would only take data from Sensor 1 and 2 above. Is that correct or is there a way I can add in Sensor 3 and 4 also. If not I am guessing the best to graph all of these so they overlap will be via Grafana / Influxdb?
