433mHz range extender for Aeotec Doorbell 6

I live in the coach house on this property which is about 50m back. The range of the Aeotec Doorbell 6 is about 50m. Where I want to set up the doorbell 6 is about a foot and a half out of range, so I went looking for 433mHz range extenders. I have found 2 on Amazon and neither have them have worked.


Anyone have any idea of what to do next? I really want a doorbell that can send me a notification to my phone, preferably through HA. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Can you solder a 17cm wire antennae to the doorbell? I’ve seen a number of articles talk about this.
