6914HA Fan Light Switch Tuya Cloud not showing Light Switch

Hi All,

Newbie here again, I’ve been reading up on these fan Light switches and I have 3 which I’m about to migrate them all over to Smart Life and HA but I have a slight issue well 2 that a Newb like me can’t figure out what is going on.

I’ve searched and read and all posts are Tuya Local and I thought that’s fine I’ll just add another ID under the existing Switch and name out the light ID9 like in the tuya local posts BUT my issue is my Configuration.yaml file does not show any entities, matter of fact I cannot find them anywhere to add in the code?? WTH ??? how is this possible my Configuration.yaml file only has 16 lines of code in it.

I can add an entity via GUI but I can’t assign that under the existing fan Switch or can I?

All things I want to do in the future involve coding in the Yaml but if integrations or entities are brought in via GUI where is the code stored?

Please I need some help

You are not alone, even though it may seem like it

Has anyone managed to get this working?
I, too, cannot get Home Assistant to find the light, though it finds the fan without any problem.
I managed to find the light in Alexa under a new device called “light” and even managed to expose it to HomeKit via HomeBridge.
Just called Arlec / Deta support and the guy is useless. Said “the light might not be supported in Home Assistant” after initially asking me if I’ve checked Google.
I also have the CFR225HA which Home Assistant has no problem discovering both the fan and the light.

This worked fine when Tuya was connected with the IoT developer account, but when I upgraded I needed to reset that to the direct SmartLife integration method and now these do not work like they did before.

It must be some code with the new integration with Tuya that isnt right for this model.
