800LR Z-Wave GPIO module -- install does not allow device path

i’m trying to get started using zwave with home assistant. i have the HA operating system installed on a pi-4 where it’s been running well for quite a while. i’m now trying to add zwave and have added the 800LR to the gpio on the pi. when attempting to set up the zwave-js integration, i don’t get the option to set the device path for the module.

Home Assistant is current on all updates. i’m sure i’m missing something stupid, but i don’t know what.

thanks

Did you disable bluetooth?

no… not for want of trying… i mounted the sd card on linux, but there is no /boot partition that i can find–i’m familiar with overlays and working with them. normally i can mount /boot on my mac, but it refuses to mount this sdcard. doing this from the HA terminal, i can’t find a config.txt file… and not in the /root directory, either.

thanks
kenb.
