A bug, or additional config required?

Hey All,

I’m new to HA and am hoping to use it primarily to manage zwave devices. Thus far I have only 3 nodes total, one is a non-zwave device which works fine, the other two aren’t quite working right. I would appreciate if someone can let me know if I am doing something wrong or if this is a bug that should be reported.

I have paired two light switches to my Zstick (g5): Homeseer WS100+ & Homeseer WD100+.
In HA, they show up as
Unknown: id=000c Unknown: type=4447, id=3033 Switch node_id: 2
Unknown: id=000c Unknown: type=4447, id=3034 Level supported_features: 19 node_id: 3

I am able to toggle the switch/lights once and then things go awry. If I try to toggle the state from (on to off or off to on) I will see an animation of the change, but the lights remain unchanged. The on/off state does not update if controlled manually. Additionally once a slider is toggled, it will remain in that state, you can click/tap the slider as many time as you please, however it will bounce back to it’s current state after the first change is made.

As a fix, I can restart HA services and the state will be picked up. I will be able to make a single change to their state before the same issue occurs.

This is not an issue with my other device (a wemo plug), which toggles on and off merrily.

As to avoid pestering the devs, I am wondering if this is just me missing something or if I should send in a report.

Thank you!

I’m having the same basic problem with my zwave stuff since upgrading to 0.35.* and the problem is still there in 0.36.
You can switch the toggle in the UI, and it will turn the lights off, but the toggle immediately goes back to on, even though the lights are off. It’s breaking a lot of my automations.
