A moes 3 Gang switch, a philips hue and Zigbee2Mqtt Walk into my house

I wonder if someone with much better knowledge can help. I’ll get to the point.

My HA runs Z2M using the Sky Connect. My living room lights are connected to a Moes 3 Gang Switch EU/UK (Same as Moes Switch 2 Gang EU/UK but just a 3 gang version).

In the living room lights, I have Philips Hues that were a hand-me-down. I don’t have a bridge but I have connected them to HA and they work fine when they have power. The Moes switch turns the lights on/off as intended and with no power the Hue’s disconnect from Z2M.

My question is: Is there a way of making the Moes switch to turn the Hue bulbs off via software (so they still have power going to them) and not cut the power to them physically?

My end goal: Is to have the Hue bulbs have constant power to them so they can act as repeaters, change colours if needed, etc etc, even when I use the physical buttons on the Moes switch.

Thanks,

Gilly

Wire the moes gang switch at the wall so that regardless of its position, power is passing through the switch. This should be pretty simple, just run a wire from the top of the switch to the bottom to effectively bypass the switch, but aslo to continue to feed power to the moes switch itself.

Replace the Moes switch with an Aqara or Niko switch. The ones here support decoupled mode, which lets you set this via software without needing to change the way the bulbs are wired.
