It would be great if there was an easy way to manually clear the history of a specific entity.
One example where this feature would help happens when setting up new sensors and the initial data recorded is often unwanted/irrelevant. For example, none of the “lightning” counted in the screenshot is real, it was all simulated via state changing so that I could fine tune automations.
A simple option in the entity viewing UI to clear this history (or maybe even a range of it?) would help clean up the data
