I’d like to be able to print, export, save a topic or section of the documentation to refer to it in the future. For a new user, reading page after page of documentation, examples and then trying to recall a part of what I’ve read is daunting. I know the info changes quickly but some things must be somewhat constant. For example, log level hierarchy. I couldn’t find a “print topic” option. Sorry if I missed the memo. Even if one option was to print to file that would be helpful. It would also be nice to save a forum thread too. I haven’t found a way to do that either.
Bookmarks are down by the reply button.
… three dots bottom right.
Can’t you just print the page from your Web browser? In Chrome, it’s the hamburger top right, share > print. Could save to pdf or whatever too.
I’ve used both. Forum bookmarks work but you have to be on the forum to see your bookmarks so it’s sort of Catch22. The browser print/save to pdf option is hit / miss on many pages. I’ve messed with the settings (margin, scale, background images, etc.) but maybe the html code on the page prevents some text from being saved?
Some forums have a “printer friendly” button which is handy. You know you’ll get everything as the site format’s the topic for you.
