When submitting feature requests for integration of new devices or services, please include the following information as it will help to get your request evaluated:

  1. Brief description of the device or service.
  2. Link to the provider or manufacturer’s product or service page.
  3. Link to the service or device’s API, along with information as to whether it is public or requires an account or key. (This is extremely important because without a published API, integration of any device or service will be difficult if not impossible!)
  4. Any other relevant information including examples or GitHub repositories related to the device or service.

Just for clarification:

  • If your Feature Request is getting a lot of votes doesn’t mean that an integration will happen.
  • You can ask for an integration of device X but we, the developers and the community, don’t buy hardware to integrate it.

This is a community-driven project and depends on the contributions of volunteers.

Feature Request to Home Assistant:
Automations and scripts are getting overwhelming in the GUI, if I could just have them in folders to find them easier- example Text to Speech have a file called TTS and click on it and inside are all my automations related to TTS.
Only if automations and scripts could be organized into folders;)
Keep up the hard work Home Assistant Team, love the platform! And to all users out there, don’t forget to sign up for the Nabu Casa Cloud service to support the project!

MODBUS. FAN. Danfoss VLT Micro Drive FC 51
Can you please add an ability to set fan speed (with scale and offset available ofcause), like temperature setup in climate platform. I don’t think tha it is necessary to explain all the features, but just for case:

  1. Read register to calculate current speed
  2. Write another register calculated speed
  3. View & Set speed, calculated with “scale” and “offset”, in Lovelace.
    Using current features, I can just read some states and its speed (using sensor platform), but I can not control it. There is an idea to use Climate platform and to change its usage from temperature to speed setting… But FAN platform is more suitable as I think.

My request is for integrating the lockCodes capability from Smartthings into this integration. It would allow coordination of lock codes from a remote location that would be quite useful.

Now that we’ve got the “compare to last” feature in the energy dashboard can this be extended to all (numeric) sensor data?

@robbiet480 The links in your post seem to be a bit out-of-date, and for example when I used the Android one the issue created got no labels.
