Access Filesystem HASSIO after Power Outage - only get resin-boot in SD Card Reader

After a power outage I can’t get passed the HA Splash screen / black screen.

I need to get at some files on an SD Card where HASSIO was installed on. When I pop in the SD Card to my Mac I only get “resin-boot” mounted. How do I access the actual files that I was using on this SD card.

Thank you in advance! My backups are on the SD card :frowning:

I’m not sure if it will work on a MAC but I use a program called Diskinternals Linux64 Reader. Works great on windows. it allows you to mount the non-boot partition on a non-linux machine, or at least a windows PC.

I ended up following this blog and it worked flawlessly!

What partition was it ultimately on and where in the directory structure did you find your config files? I’m having a similar issue, but none of the directory structures I’m seeing on the various partitions I mount are looking familiar at all.

Oh man hopefully you figured this out I’m not sure. I remember it being pretty apparent.

Nope, I assume that the card is corrupted. I was probably not rebooting the Pi properly to ensure disk was not writing, and I also had Brackets open on my Mac with those files loaded more regularly than I should have. So probably I killed it. My backups are relatively current so I’m not losing too much. Frustrating but not too bad.
