Access from Outside OK with Wifi but KO with 4G/5G with my Pixel9

Hello everyone

  • I have a Pixel 9 Latest version (Android 15, December update).
  • I have HA latest version updated.
  • Core2024.12.5
  • Supervisor2024.12.0
  • Operating System14.1
  • Interface utilisateur20241127.8

I am able to access with my Pixel when I am out of my home when I am connected through Wifi.
But when I disconnect wifi and I am with 4G/5G I am stuck at loading data.
Tried it in several locations and not working.
When I try with the phone of my son (Xiaomi), all is OK with 4G-5G.

I have also tried to disable “adaptative battery” on my pixel => Same issue! :frowning:

Any suggestion how to handle this issue, please? thanks

Same ISP on yours and your sons phone?
Some ISPs block the DuckDNS domain.

Using DNS-over-HTTPS might circumvent it.

I use Synology reverse proxy. Maybe the issue??

Probably not.
Your sons phone would hit that too.

You need to look for differences and that Haven to be the ISP or the set up of the phone.
If it is through the browser then many browsers today Haven DNS-over-HTTPS enabled as default.

Thank you for the tip I have found the issue!

Due to the fact my ISP is in IPv6 and HA in IPv4! So i force my ISP in v4!

Any tutorial to switch HA in IP v6 for the future? thanks

HA probably already run IIPv6, of your router provides it.
You might need to make sure your public DNS can resolve to IPv6 also.
