Hi, this is my first time posting. I’ve installed HAS on a container on my Synology NAS. I have 2 VLANs, the Synology NAS is connected to an Unifi switch with default access so it should be able to see all VLANs but I am only being able to see devices in HAS on my main VLAN and not on the IOT VLAN. I am wondering if anyone might be able to shed some light on perhaps some settings I am missing in HAS as I am relatively new to it.
Is your VLAN maybe using a different ip range or subnet? As far as I remember Home Assistant only checks the ip-range / subnet which it is in. Another cause could be that the container itself has no acces to the VLAN, you could check this by pinging one of the devices on the VLAN from the container. For example by using the terminal add-on in Home Assistant.
Thanks, sorry for my delay in replying. I think you have given me a good idea to setup another Network connection for the other VLAN and that might work. I will give it a go and see.
