Got an issue where I cannot seem to access my HA when I’m using Unifi Teleport, I can access everything else on my network, Unraid, dockers, other PC’s but HA is the only thing I cannot reach. I can tho reach HA on the iPhone app when my iPhone is connected back home using Teleport, just not the WebUI on my Mac. HA is running on a VM inside Unraid and has a static IP which I have tried connection that way.
I have much of the same issue with Teleport, except i do have success with from the iPhone app using teleport on iOS ( but only when not connected to a wifi network). So there is no fundamental blocker.
Sometime i have success with the app on a mac, other times not. My situation is more complicated because I have two properties i’m trying to remotely manage with separate home assistant instances - one i can access this way the other not.
The Home assistant app tries to be clever in using different connection strategies depending on the wifi network detected, i’ve tried editing that config with no success. I’m still unclear why using the IP address (i can even ping the HA RPI) never works.
I bought a second hand USG-3P I’m using now and created a L2TP server on it to connect to my home network, but still the same issue, iPhone works fine, but the Web UI just wont, really frustrating.
Go figure… Thought i’d give it another nudge, and I now have both the app and safari browser access working on my mac. Teleport between two UDRs, initiated by WifiMan running on a mac.
