Accessing HASS Configurator with Home Assistant Cloud Remote Control

Hi,
Suggestions on configuration to access the HASS Configurator via Home Assistant Cloud Remote Control? Running Hass.io on a RPi3ModelB.
With 0.90 update I switched from remote access with port forwarding and duckdns address to remote access to hassio.local via HA Cloud. Works smoothly!
However, never were able to get access to Configurator with duckdns remote access. Does anyone know if it is possible with HA Cloud Remote Control?

If so, what is the correct configuration for the Configurator addon and for setting up a panel_iframe in configuration.yaml?

I would also very much like to know this

Hi @Svurk

Have you resolved your situation? I am currently experiencing the same with the Cloud Remote

Thanks,
JC

Anyone got a solution for this?

This is the information I received from Nabu Casa suport:

Q:
How to get remote access to the configurator (e.g. configuration.yaml) via Home Assistant Cloud?
A:
Unfortunately there is currently no method for customizing the connection for other servers or ports beyond Home Assistant. Right now the focus is on evaluating stability and scale for the service itself.

The only way I can access the configurator remotely, is through the hassio addon window, once selected the configurator, clicking on the “open web UI”.

Excellent suggestion!
Tried it and it works fine.

This is not working for my.

Do you have set up a port forward in your router?

Hi, no, I don’t have any port forward.
Have you updated your configurator Add-on? in the recent version, it shows a new option together with the start on boot, auto-update, protection mode options, named “show in sidebar”. If you turn it on, you don’t have to specify in your configuration.yaml the lines for having the configutaron in the sidebar. I deleted those lines in my yaml file and switched on this option, and now I can use it remotely.
Hope this helps.
