Hi, I am a beginner with high aspirations for integrating Home Assistant into my small business.
I am looking to use HA to not only control/monitor devices but also to help with human action tracking.
I believe this might be a very simple process in theory but again, looking for a place to get started. Also, apologies if this is not the correct sub-forum. I’m still learning my way around!
Is there an existing integration or way to create a number of fields that will be able to capture/save data locally? I am looking to have the ability to have an employee take a cleaning task and then date/timestamp the completion, note who it was who did the said action, and note if there is a particular way that it happened. In this specific case, I need to know when my draft lines were cleaned, which direction (left-to-right or right-to-left), who did it, and whether or not a specific chemical was needed. I would look to also build upon this, but that would be a great start.
I’ve seen things like the garbage take-out reminder and that would be a similar feature to add in time, but like I said. I am still new and want to take baby steps and I feel like the above features will allow me to learn a bit about how to adjust in the future.
