I just installed Adaptative Cover Pro, set up a building, added a cover and … it does not work
(specifically the shutter opened in full sun). Before going further into the documentation (and asking questions), I wanted to check how ACP sees my window and its shutter on the full card.
But where is this card? I tried to add it via Edit dashboard → Add card but it does not show up in the list of cards
EDIT: I saw two places in the docs where the installation is discussed: Dashboard Cards · jrhubott/adaptive-cover-pro Wiki · GitHub and GitHub - jrhubott/adaptive-cover-pro-card: Custom Lovelace card for the Adaptive Cover Pro Home Assistant integration. Visualizes sun/window geometry, the pipeline decision trace, and live cover positions with inline controls. · GitHub
HACS (recommended)
- In HACS, open the ⋮ menu → Custom repositories.
- Add GitHub - jrhubott/adaptive-cover-pro-card: Custom Lovelace card for the Adaptive Cover Pro Home Assistant integration. Visualizes sun/window geometry, the pipeline decision trace, and live cover positions with inline controls. · GitHub with category Dashboard.
- Search for Adaptive Cover Pro Card, download, and refresh your browser.
All five cards register in the card picker as Adaptive Cover Pro - XXX.
HACS (recommended):
- Add GitHub - jrhubott/adaptive-cover-pro-card: Custom Lovelace card for the Adaptive Cover Pro Home Assistant integration. Visualizes sun/window geometry, the pipeline decision trace, and live cover positions with inline controls. · GitHub as a custom repository (category: Lovelace).
- Install Adaptive Cover Pro Card and refresh.
The cards appear in the card picker under “Adaptive Cover Pro”.
Both installation methods are similar (the instructions differ but the idea is the same) but after installing the card (note that it is of type plugin despite choosing Dashboard)
I still cannot find it despite reloading
