without knowing more about how you have created the local tuya entity can’t be sure what is going wrong. I’d be taking a look at the differences in the states between the two entities (normal cloud vs local tuya), and see if you can debug it from there. Go to the side menu and navigate to Developer Tools → States → then search for the each fan entity and compare the states and data types of each to see if that reveals anything. It might also be worth taking a look at the homeassistant .log file when you have the local tuya entity set in the blueprint and see if there is anything popping up in there.
