Add a dimmer using the RM mini or RM Pro to HomeAssistant

Hi I wonder if my idea/ goal could be achieved here …

So I have an RM Pro and and RM Mini 3

And I have a dimmer switch
(With a remote)

So I want to pair the remote with the RM Pro / Mini

And add it to home assistant

And I want it to show in

1 - home assistant as a Slider
2 - I have the HomeKit component
And I want it to show like a brightness slider

  (Not two separate buttons)
   If this is not possible 
    It’s ok to add them as buttons 
    But not switches 🤔

I have the same goal i want to achieve! i think a template light is the best way to achieve this but i have no idea how to set the conditions at set_level.

Hope someone can help us out
