Add accent color to the Android Auto UI

Latest update added Favourites. Great!
Usability is therefore greatly improved. Thank you!
But completely monochromatic UI makes it very difficult to discern ON and OFF states. Especially for a car interface

Don’t forget to vote for your own feature.

Easy to miss requests over here. There are limitations as to what come can be used in the grid icons. Mainly cars are in control over what colors they allow. Currently we are using the default color.

We can probably also update the icon based on the state if you think that would be helpful.

You already do? Well my garage door does…

Its a good start and I’d totally support the change of what I’m seeing isn’t intended but yeah we really need some kind of active v. Inactive color difference to help in quick differentiation without having to focus on the console.

Ya some entities do but the light domain does not currently.

I think making sure the icons reflect the state is preferrable as the API we will use this note

Depending on contrast requirements, capabilities of the vehicle screens, or other factors, the color may be ignored by the host or overridden by the vehicle system.

Your car may not allow the color to be set, so making sure the icon updates with the state is probably most important given this.
