Hi! I have recently started to use the new area feature in Home Assistant. I have some devices not added using an integration, for example some IP cameras using the mjpeg platform. Is it possible to manually add area to these devices? I think I read somewhere I must add a device_id to the entity?
unique_id, not device_id.

No, if the integration does not support it then you can’t add it.
That’s a shame! If area is the new way of grouping devices it seems there should be an option of adding area to all entities.
