Just like the per-device option to hide the sidebar and go into full-screen mode, it would be nice to have an option to automatically refresh the Lovelace UI for devices used as panels like a tablet. Right now I have to go around to each one and tap the refresh when I would prefer, for those devices only, to automatically refresh the UI whenever it changes.
Have you tried using a browser for Lovelace, rather than the app? I have an old Android tablet on the wall running one called Fully Kiosk. It wakes when the camera detects motion and refreshes automatically.
This seems like a pretty good solution. Also doesn’t clutter up the Home Assistant config with unneeded devices (really don’t care about the location of my wall tablets
