I’ve got a power strip (Zwave, Greenwave) with 6 power outlets and I’d like to add the sum of the power usage to my Energy dashboard. Because I’ve got 5 power strips, I just want the sum in my dashboard; I don’t need all 30 sensors.
I’ve created a helper that sums up the 6 ports, but I can’t used the kWh sensor, because it lacks the ‘last_reset’ measurement.
I intended to move a sensor from the configuration.yaml to Helpers as sensorns now can be set up from the GUI, however, the new sensor is not compliant with the requirements from the Energy dashboard, and there are no mechanisms in the Helper sensor dialogue to address them.
