we are able to disable or enable entities in bulk.
I think, offering a feature to add those also in bulk to a room or area would be highly beneficital, especially for newbies.
Also, I still don’t understand why inside an area or room, it is not possible to add devices directly, preferably with the same “bulk” function enabled.

It’s currently possible to assign multiple devices to an area.
In Settings → Devices & Services → Devices, click the multi-select icon, tag one or more devices, then select “Move to area” in the “Actions” menu.
To my knowledge, there’s no equivalent for entities.
Spook gives you an action to add entities to an area.

I will look into it, still - it would be beneficial, if you have that “bulk option” to enable, disable devices, to adjust these options.

You can, if you install spook. It was built for home assistant by Frenck, one of the main contributors to home assistant.
